2025 "My Guys", Pt. II
A look at the players in my Top 75 that I am significantly higher on than consensus.
2025 NFL DRAFT
#37 Elic Ayomanor (↑32 Spots)
I don't feel worthy to write up this "My Guys" bit for Ayomanor because that right should belong solely to Bill Sparks (@SparksSouting on Twitter. Give that man a follow, he puts out amazing content!) Bill has been pounding the table for Ayomanor longer than anyone else and for good reason. He has size, length speed, and legit ball skills. He plays a brand of ball that is pro-ready and is a hard-working player down in and down out. What really does it for me with Ayomanor—his blocking. The dude works his butt off to help his team on every snap, something that seems to be a dying art in the brand of "ME-BALL" that many others are starting to adopt. Look for this kid to be a heavy-impact player early on.
#53, Luke Kandra (↑128 Spots)
Luke Kandra is probably the first true "My Guy". Watching his tape in the fall, I fell in love with how he plays the game and what he brings to the field. He is another workhorse, but pairs that with ideal size, speed, and strength. The guy plays a brand of football that is mean and in your face and I love it. Why he isn't a Top 100 player on everyone's board is beyond me, but he is a clear-cut Day 2 guy on my board and someone is going to get a steal of a player if he goes where consensus has him. Luke, get ready to be the Cinderella story because people are sleeping on you and I cannot wait to see you put your stamp on the NFL.
#54, Andrew Mukuba (↑23 Spots)
Right after Kandra is a little more well-known name with Andrew Mukuba. Mukuba is another safety in this class that does everything you want from a center fielder in the secondary. He brings stellar ball skills, great athleticism, and a fearless mentality to the game in a way that many safeties lack. He may be a bit undersized to go toe-to-toe with the larger bodies of the NFL, but you will never see that based on the way that he plays consistently twitched up. Mukuba was an integral part of Texas' success this year with the production he was able to have and if he can bring that to the NFL, watch out because you have a super productive safety to deal with in whatever secondary drafts him.
#68, Tory Horton (↑58 Spots)
Tory Horton is a guy that had everything going for him...until he got injured. He put up a monster game across from Travis Hunter in 2023, graded out with 80+ in bother 2023 and 2024 per PFF, and was a do-it-all-all type of player. Horton's ability to produce after the catch as well as win down field makes him a nightmare whenever a quarterback looks his way. Expect him to be a name that pops early in his NFL career as more than just a rotational piece in a WR room as his current draft stock would suggest.
#70 Rylie Mills (↑126 Spots)
Another true "My Guy", Rylie Mills has been a big name on my board for quite some time. The biggest things fighting against him are his age and the ACL injury he sustained in the CFP. Aside from that, the guy is a stud. He is an extremely productive pass rusher with a decent run-defense floor. All this guy has done over his last two seasons at Notre Dame was produce sacks and pressures. When he excels at the most important thing in the NFL for a defensive lineman currently and brings the leadership and winning culture to an organization, I can't help but launch a guy up my board.

Newt Westen
In every draft cycle, there are players that I get drawn to and convinced are the second coming. Sometimes it is the way they play, others are freakish testers, and some I couldn't even tell you why if I had to explain it, I just think they're good quality players.
Looking at my board versus consensus, I look for guys I am significantly higher on (20+ spots). My consensus board is built from the analysts and companies that I value most so it may waiver a little bit from the general public, but it is comprised of over a dozen big boards.
In Part I, we took a look at Jack Sawyer, Jayden Higgins, Xavier Watts, Xavier Restrepo, and Jordan Burch. Go give that a read if you did not already get a chance to. Now, we have an updated rakings and are diving a little deeper and getting to some real under-the-radar gems. Here is the list of "my guys" in my Top 75—where I have them, how much higher I have them, and why I like them.
