Over his three-year career at Michigan, Graham has emerged as one of the premier defensive players in college football. A two-time All-American (2023 2nd team, 2024 1st team), two-time All-Big Ten selection, and the 2024 Rose Bowl Defensive MVP, Graham has been recognized for his outstanding performance on the field. In his freshman season, he was named Defensive Freshman of the Year, showcasing his immediate impact.

Graham’s physical profile is ideal for his position. His blend of strength and speed allows him to be effective in a variety of situations. He has developed a wide array of pass-rush moves that give him versatility in attacking offensive lines. His lateral agility is particularly impressive, making it difficult for blockers to get their hands on him. Graham’s explosiveness off the line and ability to fight through blocks, combined with his stellar grip strength, allows him to control the line of scrimmage and be disruptive on every play. His defensive grades support his success on the field over the last three seasons. Starting with his freshman season he has posted an 80.3, 90.0, and finally 90.7 this last season per PFF. His ability to use both power and quickness in his play has made him a dominant force in both run and pass defense.

Despite his stellar attributes, there are areas where Graham can still improve. One of his key areas of focus should be expanding his pass-rush moves to become even more unpredictable and effective, especially in high-pressure situations. Additionally, when rushing from the edge, Graham has occasionally played out of control, which has led to him losing balance and ending up on the ground. This can limit his ability to finish plays and be as effective in pass-rush situations as he is when controlling the line in the run game.

If Graham can refine his pass-rush skills and improve his control when rushing from the edge, he could develop into a truly elite defensive player at the next level. With his already exceptional physical tools, including his speed, strength, and lateral agility, Graham has the potential to become a dominant force in the NFL or at the next level of competition. With continued development, he could solidify himself as a high-impact player and potentially reach Pro Bowl-caliber status.
